You said that you did not like the birthmarks on your body, but you did not know how they reminded me of stars.

You said that you could stay with me and stare into my eyes for hours, but I did not know what you saw in my pitch black eyes

Maybe the stars on your body wanted to be a part of a story told with my pitch black eyes. 

Maybe, I was the night and you were the stars…
